The White House Office of National AIDS Policy, HHS Office of HIV/AIDS and Infectious Disease Policy, and HHS Office of Minority Health hosted a webinar-based listening session today to discuss the role of pre-exposure prophyaxis (PrEP) in the National HIV/AIDS Strategy.  A number of organizations presented their viewpoints on how PrEP might be better employed to fight the HIV/AIDS epidemic.  Two speakers, the National Alliance of State and Territorial AIDS Directors and The Aids Institute raised questions regarding how PrEP might be covered by RWCs participating in the 340B program.  RWC-340B members proposed to speak, but the hosts could only accommodate a small number of applicants during the allotted time.
